Mobilising support

  • AAP showcases its achievements through vans emblazoned with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s portrait and a list of accomplishments, including free electricity, employment initiatives, anti-corruption measures and the launch of Sadak Surakhya Force (SSF) vehicles.
  • Vehicles representing the BJP, featuring Prime Minister Modi and highlighting the party’s achievements, can be seen plying across the city.
  • Congress activists have been mobilising people against both BJP and AAP, particularly criticising their handling of the ‘Delhi Chalo Andolan’.

The campaign trail is ablaze with activity as the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) showcases its achievements through vans emblazoned with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s portrait and a list of accomplishments, including free electricity, employment initiatives, anti-corruption measures and the launch of Sadak Surakhya Force (SSF) vehicles. These vans are mostly stationed near the DC office and traverse through Ladowali road and other areas.

Similarly, vehicles representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi and highlighting the party’s achievements, can be seen plying across the city.

Adding to the electoral landscape, an Election Commission van has also been stationed near the DC office, aiming to inform and inspire citizens to exercise their voting rights in the upcoming elections.

Local party workers have intensified their efforts, canvassing door-to-door and convening meetings to formulate strategy. Towering banners and vibrant wall paintings vying for voter attention adorn the cityscape.

In a recent development, state BJP leaders convened a ‘Booth Sammelan’ urging party workers to bolster grassroots presence and spread awareness about the party’s social initiatives undertaken over the past decade, championing PM Modi’s leadership for a third term in office.

AAP leaders, including prominent figures like West MLA Sheetal Angural and MP Sushil Rinku, have been holding intensive meetings to galvanise supporters and tout the party’s recent accomplishments.

At the ‘Aaap Di Sarkar, Aaap De Dwar’ camps, party workers and potential candidates for the post of municipal councillors diligently attend to the needs of residents, leveraging the platform to court voters.

Congress activists have been mobilising people against both BJP and AAP, particularly criticising their handling of the ‘Delhi Chalo Andolan’. With an emphasis on youth leadership embodied by Rahul Gandhi, Congress members are strategising campaigns to counter their adversaries.

As the electoral fervour intensifies, the city becomes a crucible of political discourse and mobilisation, setting the stage for a closely watched electoral showdown in the days ahead.
