Gurpal Singh assumes charge as Kapurthala Improvement Trust chief

Gurpal Singh Indian today took over as the Chairman of Improvement Trust Kapurthala.

While assuming office at Improvement Trust, the newly-appointed chairman thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and party workers.

After assuming office, Gurpal Singh said the planned development of the city of Kapurthala and the provision of housing at reasonable rates to the common people would be the priority of Improvement Trust.

He said more efforts would be made to make the services related to the Improvement Trust available to the people in more easy manner. On this occasion, Rajya Sabha Member Baba Balbir Singh Seechewal and Mandi Board Chairman Harchand Singh Barsat congratulated the newly-appointed Chairman.

Barsat said under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government was giving top positions to the party workers which sets the new trend in politics of Punjab.

He said by appointing Gurpal Singh as chairman, the party had set an example of the politics of honoring ordinary workers and also assured that Improvement trust under the leadership of Gurpal Singh will play an important role in the development of the city.

On this occasion, Lalita Saklani, Chairman, District Planning Board Kapurthala, Kashmir Singh Malli, Chairman, Improvement Trust Phagwara, Parvinder Singh Dhot, senior leader AAP, Kanwar Iqbal Singh were present.
