Guest Lecture on entrepreneurship

Jalandhar: Research, Innovation and Extension Committee of KCL-IMT organised a guest lecture on ‘Entrepreneurship-A step towards formidable success’ for students of MBA, BBA BCom “You are never too young to start an empire. You are never too old to chase a new dream”, said the resource person Tanish Mittal. Tanish Mittal, aged 14 years, is the youngest entrepreneur award winner and is the founder CEO of web-based company named Innowebs Tech Jalandhar. He has done his postgraduate -level animation and VFx course from Arena Animation, an advanced course in ‘cyber security and data protection’ from Secuneus Technology and a certified International Trade Expert course from Global Networks. Being an excellent speaker, he has delivered a number of motivational lectures in various schools, colleges and universities.

Model-making competition

Jalandhar: The commerce department of HMV Collegiate Senior Secondary School, Jalandhar, organised a commerce city model- making competition. The competition was organised with an objective to make students learn practically the concepts of commerce. The students of SSC-I commerce participated in the event. They showed their creativity by making various models on e-Commerce, GST Aids to trade, communication and insurance, including working models on ATM and vending machine. Principal Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of students and coordinator Meenakshi Sayal. Sakshi got the first prize for making commerce dictionary.

Blood donation camp

Jalandhar: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya organised a blood donation camp on its campus. The camp was organised with the efforts of the KMV Red Ribbon Club under the aegis of student welfare department, the NSS unit of KMV. The camp was inaugurated by principal Prof Atima Sharma Dwivedi. The medical team consisting of Dr Gagandeep Singh, Civil Hospital, Jalandhar, graced the occasion. The students volunteered to donate blood in a large number .The principal averred that it gave her happiness and satisfaction that the activity of the day was going to save many precious lives. She also lauded the efforts of the donors and the organisers of the camp. TNS
