Jalandhar: The Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee on Sunday burnt the effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Cabinet at Lohian Khas village after two of three controversial farm ordinances were passed in the Rajya Sabha on Sunday. A large number of farmers from Shahkot, Sultanpur Lodhi and Lohian zone condemned the policies of the ruling government and subsequently burnt the effigies of BJP leaders. After raising anti-Modi slogans, farmers also declared full support to farmers agitating against farm ordinances in Haryana.
