Call for Punjab Bandh today

After the death of Shubhkaran Singh during the farmers’ protest at the Khanauri border, the BKU (Qadian) has given a call for Punjab Bandh tomorrow again.

Amrik Singh, leader of the Jalandhar-based union, said farmers had planned to block highways in Jalandhar district at three places - Phillaur near Sutlej bridge, Cholang on Pathankot road and Shahkot-Moga stretch.

The farmers of the union said Phagwara-Nawanshahr stretch would also be blocked at Behram.
