In a crackdown on alleged militant sympathisers, the Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday terminated the services of Syed Ali Shah Geelani's grandson Anees-ul-Islam following a probe.

Anees was appointed Research officer at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) in 2016.
