Politicians in J&K need to come out to play their role; Article 370 is a settled issue

BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav has said the Assembly elections in J&K will be held in months from now. He dismissed the charge that the bureaucracy was stalling the political process in the state while issuing a call to all non-BJP political leaders to come forward and resume political activity to become the bridge between the government and the people.

In an interview with The Tribune on Wednesday, the BJP leader passionately defended the abrogation of Article 370, saying that either the people have welcomed it or reconciled to it.
