Jammu, December 7

The situation in the Jammu and Kashmir is grave as Prime Minister Narendra Modi has failed to keep his promise of removing “dil ki doori and Dilli ki doori”, National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah has said.

He was addressing a day-long convention of the NC here today.

Meanwhile, a demand for the restoration of full statehood of Jammu and Kashmir along with the provisions of Articles 370 and 35-A of the Constitution were among the seven resolutions passed by the NC during the convention.

Its other demands included restoration of the “durbar move” practice, a special package for the tourism industry and jobs for youth. — PTI
