Night operations start at Jammu airport

New Delhi, July 24

With J&K Lieutenant Governor (L-G) Manoj Sinha flagging off a GoAir passenger aircraft late last evening, the much-awaited night operations of flights have started at the Jammu airport.

In an official statement, the administration said, “The L-G acknowledged the support of the Government of India and different agencies for ensuring the fulfilment of various procedural and on-ground facilities.”

AAI officials said the re-carpeting of runway and installation of runway approach lighting system had been completed. — TNS
