Lt Gen Ranbir reviews security along LoC

Northern Command chief Lt Gen Ranbir Singh visited forward posts on the Line of Control to review the overall security scenario in the Kashmir valley.

He was accompanied by Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen KJS Dhillon visited formations along the LoC in the forward areas of Kupwara district, an Army statement said.

“He was briefed on developmental works, counter-infiltration grid and operational preparedness of the Army,” it said. The Northern Command chief was appreciative of the measures and standard operating procedures instituted by the units and formations to meet the challenges posed by the inimical elements.
