Leh records another death

The Ladakh Union Territory has reported another death of a Covid patient, while 68 new cases of the deadly virus were found, taking the tally of positive cases to 4,093 and death toll to 57.

According to the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services, Ladakh UT, “Out of the total positive reports, there were 54 positive cases in Leh and 14 positive reports in Kargil”.

With the death of another patient from Covid in Leh district, the total number of deaths in the UT has gone up to 57 comprising 24 in Leh and 33 in Kargil district.

As many as 39 patients in Leh and eight patients in Kargil were discharged after their negative sample reports were received.
