Three such devices seized at Nadarnag Avoora in Trehgam

Srinagar, July 25

Three improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were seized by security forces in Kupwara district on Sunday.

The IEDs were found during a cordon-and-search operation in the north Kashmir district, officials said. The operation was conducted at Nadarnag Avoora in the district’s Trehgam area. A bomb disposal squad reached the spot to deal with the explosive devices, officials said, adding further details were awaited.

A few days ago, a drone, which was being controlled reportedly by Pakistan-based terrorists to drop explosives in Jammu, was shot down by security personnel. — PTI
