Heart-wrenching! Cop rescues 3-year-old boy sitting on grandfather's body from Kashmir encounter site

In a heart-wrenching sight, a three-year-old boy was pictorially captured sitting on the body of his grandfather, a civilian who fell victim to bullets exchanged in cross-fire between security forces and militants in South Kashmir's restive Sopore belt.

He was soon rescued by Sopore SHO Azim Khan from the spot and later taken to his family. The inconsolable boy looked shocked after the incident.

As per reports, the civilian had gone to buy milk. He had taken his grandson along with him.

At least one CRPF jawan and a civilian were killed while two other security force personnel received injuries in a militant attack.

The militants opened firing on a naka party of security forces in Sopore, resulting in injuries to three Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans and a civilian.
