First special train to reach Jammu today

As the Centre has started 15 special trains from New Delhi to various parts of the country, the J&K Administration has decided to test all passengers arriving at the Jammu Tawi railway station from May 14.

A special train between New Delhi and Jammu Tawi will start at 9 pm from New Delhi on May 13 and arrive in Jammu at 5:45 am on May 14. The same train will depart from Jammu at 8 pm on May 14 and reach New Delhi at 5 am.

Senior Divisional Traffic Manager, Jammu-Pathankot Range, Chetan Taneja said all necessary arrangements had been made and the railway station had been sanitised. He said after the sampling, the passengers will be sent to quarantine centres till their report are received. — TNS
