Chandigarh, January 13

Recently, a vegetarian traveller on Air India flight AI582, which was flying from Kozhikode to Mumbai, complained that her vegetarian dinner had chunks of chicken.

Veera Jain posted on X to discuss her unpleasant experience. Jain's vegetarian dinner included chicken bits as she was flying with Air India from Kozhikode to Mumbai. The airline replied to her after she disclosed the event.

The post was captioned, “On my @airindia flight AI582, I was served a veg meal with chicken pieces in it! I boarded the flight from Calicut airport. This was a flight that was supposed to take off at 18:40PM but left the airport at 19:40PM.”

On X, several users swiftly expressed their concern on the airline's food handling procedures after reading Jain's remark.

In response to the complaint, Air India suggested that Jain get in touch with them by direct message.
