New Delhi, January 19

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday issued fresh summons to former Union Railway Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son Tejashwi Yadav, asking them to appear for interrogation at the agency’s Patna Office in connection with the alleged land-for-jobs money laundering case.

According to sources, the agency has asked Lalu Prasad to depose on January 29, while Tejashwi has been called on January 30. A team went to the official residence of Lalu Prasad’s wife and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi in Patna to deliver the summons, the sources said further. Earlier, both the father and son had not appeared before the ED when summons were issued to them. This time, the two have been asked to depose at the ED office in Patna.
