Why suspend train service from Pathankot to Jogindernagar?

Every monsoon, the Railways stops train services from Pathankot to Jogindernagar. This poses a lot of inconvenience to people of the district. It is strange that when the Konkan railway can continue in the monsoon season, why can’t the Ferozepur division continue the service in Kangra district? — Satish, Panchrukhi
