Solan, November 27

The police had also recovered a can of petrol from the spot.

Residents of the Ladhighat area, who constituted a Vinita Nayay Manch in the case, today took out a rally and demanded immediate justice for the victim.

The protesters said the chargesheet in the case should be made public and the accused should be hanged.

Thy said several cases had come to light in the state wherein the victim was denied justice like the Gudiya case, Hoshiar murder case etc.

The emergence of such cases has led to the erosion of their faith in the state government, the villagers lamented.
