Two tobacco bags seized

Chamba, June 24

The police seized two bags of illegal ‘khaini’ (tobacco) being carried in a vehicle from Chamba to Pathankot, at Dradda on the Pathankot-Chamba national highway today, said SP Monika Bhutunguru here.

The SP said during the naka, a police team intercepted a vehicle that was on its way from Chamba to Pathankot and, on inspection, recovered two bags of khaini from it. The driver of the vehicle was booked. OC
