Trees uprooted, traffic blocked on Dharamsala-Kangra road after heavy rain

Heavy rain and strong wind on Saturday night led to the uprooting of many trees in Dharmsala city. Traffic on the main Dharamsala-Kangra road was disrupted as a huge pine tree fell and blocked the road. The ‘Divine Dharamsala’ signage, that welcomed tourists to the city, also got damaged as a tree fell on it.

The power supply in many parts of the city was disrupted as trees were uprooted.
