Stay away from rivers in Mandi, Kullu, tourists warned

The district administration of Mandi, Kullu and Lahaul and Spiti has warned the tourists and locals to stay away from water bodies. The advisory was issued in wake of the rainy season, because the Chandra-Bhaga river in Lahaul and Spiti, the Beas and Parbati in Kullu and the Beas in Mandi are in spate these days. The water level has increased considerably for the past few days.

Manav Verma, SP, Lahaul and Spiti, said tourists were advised to stay away from the water bodies during the rainy season.
