Rahul Gandhi on holiday at Chharabra

Taking a break after hectic electioneering in Bihar, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is spending some time in his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s cottage at Chharabra on the outskirts of Shimla.

Rahul, who arrived here around 12 pm yesterday, went straight to her sister’s cottage along with some friends and would leave in a day or two, sources said. Both Priyanka and Rahul are fond of Shimla, as they along with their parents used to visit the place during childhood. The environment in Chharabra is peaceful with scenic beauty.

The three-storeyed cottage is a blend of English and hill architecture. It has grey slate roofs and is located amidst serene surroundings with thick deodar forests in the vicinity. Sonia Gandhi has also been frequently coming here.— TNS
