MP Pratibha Singh releases Rs 48 lakh for development works in Mandi

MP Pratibha Singh has allocated an amount of over Rs 48 lakh from MP fund for various development works in Mandi parliamentary constituency.

In a statement issued to media, the MP said Rs 3 lakh was approved for the construction of a road in Ward No. 13 and Rs 2.50 lakh was approved for construction of a rain shelter in Nela ward.

Apart from this, the MP approved Rs 2 lakh for the construction of a pavilion in Barot of Drang assembly constituency, Rs 3 lakh for an approach road in Majharnu, Rs 3 lakh for an approach road in Nergharvasada panchayat, Rs 2.50 lakh for construction of a protection wall at Kanagar village of Kathoun panchayat of Jogindernagar Assembly constituency, Rs 2 lakh for an approach road in Barigumanu gram panchayat of Sadar Assembly constituency, Rs 2 lakh for a community hall in Sardhwar gram panchayat of Balh Assembly constituency, Rs 1 lakh for construction of a protection wall at Chhonala village and Rs 1 lakh for purchasing furniture for Bah gram panchayat under Darang Assembly constituency.

Apart from this, Rs 7,000 each was sanctioned by the MP to 15 women and youth groups of Chauntra, Dhelu, Sagnehar, Ehju, Sainthal, Mainbharola and Tikru gram panchayats of Jogindernagar Assembly constituency to purchase equipment for sports and other activities. She approved Rs 3 lakh for the construction of a community centre in Sulpur gram panchayat of Sarkaghat area, Rs 2 lakh for the construction of a shed in Jabanla gram panchayat of Sundernagar, Rs 2 lakh for a sports ground at Dhar under Mahog gram panchayat of Karsog Assembly constituency, Rs 2 lakh for an approach road to Mahog, Rs 2 lakh for a sports ground in Simas gram panchayat of Joginder Nagar and Rs 3 lakh for installation of master solar light at Cheli gram panchayat of Drang.

She also sanctioned Rs 3 lakh each for development work in Neyoli panchayat and Shamshi of Kullu Sadar area and Rs 15,000 each for purchasing sports equipment for 16 Mahila Mandals of various development blocks of Kullu district. — TNS
