Pratibha Singh releases Rs 46 lakh from her MPLAD funds for development works in Mandi

To speed up development works in Mandi district, Pratibha Singh, released around Rs 46 lakh from her MPLAD funds. This amount will be spent in Gohar, Dhanotu, Chachyot, Gopalpur and Sarkaghat areas of the district.

During her earlier visit to these areas, the MP had announced that funds would be provided for various development works. Now funds have been provided to the implementing agencies such as Block Development Officers and Public Works Department for 30 different development works.

The MP provided Rs 5 lakh to complete the work of under-construction panchayat building at Bhaur gram panchayat of Dhanotu block. Under Gohar block, Rs 1.50 lakh for road improvement from Alinal to the main road in Kandi Gram Panchayat, and Rs 1.50 lakh has been provided for Mokshadham (crematorium) at Johanala in Tunna gram panchayat.

The MP also provided Rs 1.50 lakh to Seva Yuvak Mandal of Dugrain Gram Panchayat of Dhanotu block for purchase of sports and other equipment, Rs 1.50 lakh for the under-construction panchayat building in Dugrain and Rs 2 lakh for completion of the construction work of Mokshadham in this panchayat. The MP said, “It is my duty to ensure development of Mandi parliamentary constituency.”
