Pratibha Singh leads Himachal Congress protest in front of Raj Bhawan

Shimla, August 5

Led by HPCC president Pratibha Singh, Congress leaders and workers held a protest in front of the Raj Bhawan here today “against the failure of the Central Government to check price rise and unemployment”.

Pratibha, along with AICC spokesperson Alka Lamba, AICC secretary and co-incharge of Himachal Sanjay Dutt, Congress working president Harsh Mahajan, and party legislators Mohan Lal Brakta and Rohit Thakur, staged a protest outside the Raj Bhawan. The protesters holding placards marched towards the Raj Bhawan, seeking withdrawal of the Agnipath recruitment scheme.

Pratibha said that the Central Government was misusing investigative agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Income Tax Department to harass political opponents.
