Nauni university appoints new deans, directors

Dr YS Parmar Horticulture and Forestry (UHF), Nauni, has appointed new deans and directors on the recommendations of the selection committee.

Sanjeev Kumar, serving as Head, Department of Forestry and Natural Resources, at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, has been appointed Director of Research at the university. Inder Dev, Principal Scientist (Agronomy) at ICAR-Central Agroforestry Research Institute, Jhansi, has become the Director of Extension Education.

Manish Sharma, who was serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Seed Science at the UHF, has become the new Dean of the College of Horticulture, Nauni. Chaman Lal Thakur, who was serving as the Joint Director (Training) in the Directorate of Extension Education has been appointed as Dean College of Forestry, Nauni.

Som Dev Sharma, HOD, Department of Fruit Science at Neri, has been appointed the Dean of College of Horticulture & Forestry (COHF), Neri, while PL Sharma, who was serving as the Principal Seed Research Officer, Department of Entomology, has become the Dean of the COHF, Thunag.
