Keep vigil on drugs, liquor, says Himachal DGP Sanjay Kundu

Shimla, October 19

DGP Sanjay Kundu yesterday directed the IGs, DIGs, SPs and all field officials to ensure that narcotics, liquor, household items and other goods, which may be illegally used to allure voters, were not transported, stored and distributed in the state during the ongoing byelections.

He said that strict vigil be kept on liquor producing units and if any illegal dispatch, transportation, storage or distribution was found in violation of the guidelines of the ECI, legal action would be taken. — TNS
