JP Nadda lays stone of 6 Himachal BJP offices online

BJP national president JP Nadda laid the foundation stone of party offices at Palampur, Dehra, Kangra, Nurpur, Sundernagar and Kullu virtually from New Delhi today.

Addressing a virtual rally, Nadda said when Narendra Modi was the in-charge of the state BJP in Himachal, he used to say that the party must not run from a house.

Efforts would be made to construct party offices in all organisational districts and 719 offices would be constructed throughout the country and work on 433 offices was on the advanced stage of completion.

The offices were not only a place for working, but also a place for ideological grooming and should be well-equipped with modern technologies.

He said the party was publishing a national e-book in nine different languages. The country is safe in the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has successfully guided the nation in the Covid crisis.

Nadda said 20 crore families had benefited under the Jan Dhan Yojna, 8.50 crore families of farmers had been provided Rs 6000 under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and 8 crore free gas connections been provided under the Ujjawala Yojana.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said this was a momentous day for the state BJP. He said the state was fortunate that the biggest political party of the world was today led by the son of the soil.

Later, speaking to mediapersons at Palampur, Kashyap said except Shimla, the party had no offices in the districts. He said over two kanals had been purchased by the party at Palampur two years ago to construct the office. Kishan Kapoor, MP, Ravinder Ravi and Mulakh Raj Premi both MLAs, and Trilok Kapoor, state BJP general secretary, were also present on the occasion.
