Injured airlifted from Kinnaur

Rampur: A 44-year-old resident of Tangling village in Kalpa tehsil of Kinnaur district was airlifted by the District Administration and District Disaster Management Authority with the help of the IAF following a medical emergency. Kinnaur DC Amit Kumar Sharma said injured villager Uday Singh was referred to the Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla, after first-aid at Regional Hospital, Reckong Peo. As the National Highway-5 was blocked near Nigulsari, the emergency medical evacuation was carried out by the IAF helicopter.
