IIT Mandi, South Korea to explore tie-ups in research

IIT Mandi and the Embassy of South Korea are exploring various potential collaborations in academic and research programmes, the institute Director Professor Laxmidhar Behera said.

The director said this after a two-day visit of Dr YJ Park, Director, Indo-Korean Center for Research and Innovation in New Delhi and Hyo Hee Lee, Science and Technology attaché at the embassy. During the visit, the collaborations that can contribute to the IIT Mandi’s vision of serving both the communities via technological interventions and research were discussed.

Dr Park and Lee also visited the state-of-the-art laboratories, MANAS lab, ACS Lab and Advanced Materials Research Centre, BioX Centre, Centre for Design and Fabrication of Electronic Devices and IIT Mandi iHub, in the institute.
