HPNLU bags best overall contingent award

The contingent of the Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, was declared the ‘best overall contingent’ at the fifth edition of the annual sports fest ‘Zelus-V’ of Rajiv Gandhi National Law University, Patiala. Around 60 students of HPNLU participated in various sports events that included football, cricket, basketball, etc.

In the fest held from March 1 to 4 the contingent bagged the second runners-up trophy under contingent head Arpit Sharma. The players won gold medals in six sporting events.

Sidhant and Deepali won gold in athletics, Ranveer in shot put; and Chinmay and Anubhav in chess. Suryabhan Guleria won silver and bronze medal in various events of powerlifting besides winning a silver medal in shot put.
