The Dean of Studies said in the wake of the above decision, it has also been decided to withdraw the date sheet issued for conducting the second-year examination from July 15.

Scholarship amount awaited

The Himachal Students Welfare Association (Vidya Jyoti Institutions) has raised the issues of SC/ST/OBC students who took admission in the bachelor's degree and post graduates courses at the VJES Group, Mohali, under a government-sponsored postmatric scholarship scheme. The students rue that the college fees is to be paid by us when we receive scholarship amount but unfortunately, the department of Education, HP Government, has not released the money due to which we have been subjected to financial hardships and stress. We have not been paid for scholarships for the years 2017, 2018 and 2019 on the pretext that the payment of scholarships is under a CBI inquiry. However, the inquiry has nothing do with our courses, they added.
