Haroli to be developed as model Assembly constituency: Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri

Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri presided over the ‘Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar’ programme at Dulehar panchayat in his native Haroli Assembly segment in Una district today. He heard 48 public grievances, most of them related to Revenue, Health and Jal Shakti departments, and directed the officials concerned to address these at the earliest.

Agnihotri said that the main objective of the programme was to address public grievances at the grass-roots level, besides ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries. He added that the government was according top priority to developing Haroli as a model Assembly segment.

He said, “Earnest efforts are being made to ensure zero crime in the constituency and Rs 1 crore has been spent on the installation of CCTV cameras at important places. The police have been directed to deal effectively with drug smugglers and the number of police stations and posts in the segment is being increased.”

Agnihotri said that leaders at the village level were being motivated to inform the police regarding anti-social elements in their areas. He added tabs were being kept on illegal mining. He added that two drinking water storage tanks, one of 50 lakh litre capacity and another of 25 lakh litre capacity) were being constructed at Polian village in Haroli to provide clean drinking water to local people.

The Revenue Department provided 31 types of certificates to applicants and disposed of 23 land mutation cases. Besides, 10 Aadhaar cards were made on the spot. Meanwhile, 313 persons were checked at a medical camp organised by the Health Department.
