Missing Kangra youth's body found in Ludhiana

Had left house on February 11

Nurpur, February 18

The body of Vikas Sharma (23), a resident of Baroh village in Fatehpur in Kangra district, was found near a railway track in Ludhiana today.

According to information, Vivek left his house on February 11 but did not return. His family members lodged a missing report at Rehan police chowki the next day after they failed to trace him. He was the lone son in the family and his father Raj Kumar was informed by the Railway police, Ludhiana, about his death. The bereaved family members left for Ludhiana to bring back the body.

Vikas belonged to a poor family and the local gram panchayat has sought fair investigation into his mysterious death and financial help from the government.
