Himachal Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla inaugurates blood donation camp at the Ridge in Shimla

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla inaugurated a blood donation camp at the Ridge today. The camp was organised by Umang Foundation and State Red Cross Society in collaboration with various social organisations on the eve of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha. His wife and chairperson of the State Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section Janaki Shukla was also present on the occasion.

The Governor paid tribute to the Ram devotees who lost their lives during the Shri Ram Janam Bhoomi movement. Appreciating the efforts of the foundation for organising the blood donation camp, the Governor said the foundation keeps organising such programmes in service of mankind. He also appealed to the people for donating organs for the noble cause.

Terming the Ram Temple at Ayodhya as an iconic shrine, the Governor eulogised PM Narendra Modi and credited him for unifying the entire nation and to showcase our religious and cultural heritage to the outer world.
