Father-in-law booked for rape in Kasauli

The Kasauli police arrested Meena Ram of Kol village in Kasauli tehsil for raping his daughter-in-law while she was alone at home.

The woman lodged a complaint with the police today. The incident took place on July 10 when her husband had gone away for work and her mother-in-law was at her parental place. The accused is doing a private job. He intimidated the daughter-in-law not to disclose about his misdeed or he would defame her in the village.

SP, Solan, Virender Sharma said a case for rape and criminal intimidation had been registered against the accused and he had been arrested.
