Expect heavy rain today in Himachal Pradesh

Widespread rain occurred in the state as the monsoon remained active today. The local MeT office has forecast heavy rainfall, thunderstorm and lightning at isolated places in the plains, lower and mid hills tomorrow.

Nurpur was the wettest with 114 mm of rain, followed by Nagrota Surian 110 mm, Dharamsala 103 mm, Kangra 75 mm, Guler 74 mm, Gamroor 48 mm, Bangana 42 mm, Nadaun 39 mm, Manali and Naina Devi 29 mm each, Jubberhatti 28 mm, Narkanda 19.5 mm, Berthin and Sundernagar 17 mm each, Una 16 mm and Shimla and Dalhousie 15 mm each.
