Nurpur, March 4

The Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Services Federation has hailed the state government’s recently issued notification to release the outstanding 4 per cent dearness allowance (DA) instalment due from July 2022. Federation president Vinod Kumar expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and also urged the state government to issue the notification for payment of revised pay scale arrears due from 2016.

He said the amount of revised pay scale arrears should be paid in at least five instalments or 5 to 10 per cent of the amount should be paid to the employees every month, paving way for settling the pending liabilities in the next two years. He added that this mode of payment would not burden the state exchequer in one go.

Terming the recent incident of destabilising the state government as unfortunate, the federation president said this was an insult of democracy and public mandate.
