Dogs on the prowl at Mall Road

Show comments

The rain shelter on the Mall Road is full of stray dogs. The dogs seem to have sort of captured the area. One can see more than a dozen dogs present around the shelter. People hesitate to enter the shelter, with so many canines in the area. Most of the time, the benches too are occupied by these dogs. The dogs pose a threat to people, especially the elderly and the children. — Praveen Sharma, Shimla

Removing all restrictions not right

When there were less than 500 Covid cases in the country, there was a complete lockdown. However, now when the number of Covid patients is increasing, the restrictions are being removed gradually. Himachal is witnessing a sharp rise in the number of cases everyday and medical experts have cautioned that Covid will hit its peak in September and October. What is happening in the country and the state? The government should take the pain to reconsider its decision in the interest of the public. — Pradeep, Shimla
