Later, the DC expressed concern over the spike in Covid cases in Una district during the last one month.

The DC said the state government had decided to implement the SOPs for organising gatherings. He said the organisers would have to intimate the administration at least 96 hours prior to the function, along with Covid- negative reports of the catering staff.

Sharma directed the Health Department to increase awareness campaigns on sanitation, social distancing and wearing of masks at public places. He said the reason for the recent spike in cases was traced to late reporting and hiding the symptoms by patients.
