Himachal Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri announces six bus routes to Ayodhya

UNA, JANUARY 22

Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri today congratulated the people of the state for the consecration of idol of Lord Rama at Ayodhya. He was speaking at the Mata Sheetla temple in Ispur village of Haroli Assembly segment where he offered prayers to the deity.

Agnihotri said it was a happy occasion when the deity finally sits at its place at the Lord Rama temple, adding that the Congress leadership too has welcomed it. Since Agnihotri holds the portfolios of the Art, Language and Culture, besides Transport departments, he said six new bus routes would be started from different parts of the state to Ayodhya under the ‘Darshan Suvidha Sewa’ programme, adding that a total of 175 buses, including 45 to Haridwar, will introduced as a part of the programme.

The Deputy CM said the entire Himachal Cabinet will visit Ayodhya temple to pay obeisance to Lord Rama. He said he would spend the entire Monday, paying obeisance at different religious places in the district like Radha Krishna temple in Kotla Kalan and Banode Mahadev temple. He informed that the Sheetla Mata temple in Ispur village would be given a facelift at a cost of Rs 5 crore, providing better facilities to the devotees.

Agnihotri was earlier the chief guest at the annual function of Government Senior Secondary School, Ispur. He called upon the teachers to work with dedication in providing the best education to the children and make them capable of getting admissions in prestigious institutions. He informed that the Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding School will be set up in Haroli segment and the process will be initiated soon.
