Chamba DC: Include members of NGOs in housing committee

Deputy Commissioner DC Rana has asked officers to include members of Non-Gazetted Employees Federation in the housing allocation committee for employees, ensuring that the rules are followed.

The DC stated this while presiding over a meeting of joint consultative committee (JCC) of District Non-Gazetted Employees Federation here today.

He assured the federation of appropriate action regarding the investigation of housing allotment case related to the Forest Department. He directed that estimates be prepared for the repair of common pool accommodation in various divisions.

Rana directed officers to prepare a department-wise list to remove the pay anomalies of employees besides cleanliness and parking arrangements on the premises of the Julakari office complex.

While reviewing the cases submitted under Jal Shakti Circle, Chamba, DC Rana issued instructions to make available the seniority list of employees at the district level to the employees concerned and the federation too within two days.

The DC asked the Chamba SDM to identify suitable land for the construction of fire station building at the district headquarters.

Expressing gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner, Non-Gazetted Employees Federation district president Ajay Jaryal urged that the decisions taken in the meeting should be executed in a time-bound manner by all departments.
