CSK HP Agriculture University signs MoU with Nestle

CSK HP Agriculture University and Nestle India Ltd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the project “Nestle Healthy Kids— Increasing awareness on nutrition and health amongst schoolchildren.”

During the current year, the project will be implemented in six schools, covering around 1,000 schoolchildren, and gradually more schools will be covered.

Vice-Chancellor Prof HK Chaudhry said the project would help in imparting nutrition and health education to students. He appreciated the efforts of Dr Anupama Sandal and Dr Rajni Modgil, principal investigators of the project, and their team. The project was running in the university since 2013, under which 6,000 schoolchildren had been made aware of healthy lifestyle, he added. The MoU was signed by Dr DK Vatsa, director of research at the university, and Harpratap Singh Sidhu, corporate manager, Nestle India Ltd, Tahilwal unit (Una). — OC
