Covid-hit former Himachal CM Virbhadra Singh’s birthday a low-key affair

The 87th birthday of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh was a low-key affair as the “Raja” still at the hospital though he has recovered from Covid.

Virbhadra is under treatment at the IGMC Hospital here for over a month. Earlier, he remained admitted to a private hospital in Mohali but had to be again hospitalised on his return here.

His son Vikramaditya Singh, who is Congress MLA from Shimla (Rural), flagged off sn ambulance and oxygen concentrators bought from his MLA Area Development Fund for Arki and Shimla (Rural). Supporters gathered at Virbhadra’s residence where a cake was cut.

Party workers and Youth Congress activists distributed fruits and sweets to people at various places in the state. — TNS
