HPCC president Pratibha Singh today claimed that the Congress would win more than 50 seats in the forthcoming Assembly elections in the state. She alleged that the state government had failed on all fronts.

AAP has ‘no base’

AAP has no base in the state and people will not accept it. The people of Punjab are repenting their decision to vote for AAP. — Pratibha Singh, HPCC President

Partibha, while talking to mediapersons at Nadaun last evening, said that BJP leaders had made several promises to the people of the state but fulfilled none of them. She claimed that former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh had undertaken unprecedented development in the state and he ruled the hearts of people.

She said that the response she received from the people of the state during her visit to various districts was very encouraging. She added that people had shown a lot of love and affection to Virbhadra Singh and they still remembered him with utmost respect.

Pratibha said that there could be no other formula for the Congress to win the elections other than the one set by Virbharda Singh. She asked party workers to connect with people and make them aware of the Congress’ ideology.

She said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had no base in the state and people would not accept it. The people of Punjab were repenting their decision to vote for AAP, she added.
