Chitkara’s new study programme

Chitkara University and Deakin University, Australia, have announced the launch of an ‘Academic Mentorship’ programme to ensure that students continue to achieve their international study goals. The universities have developed a four-year Bachelor of Software Engineering peogramme that will facilitate Indian students to study two years of Deakin University’s licensed curriculum at Chitkara University before their transfer for the remaining two years on campus in Australia. This transfer is based on conditions and students, after successful completion, will receive the Bachelor of Software Engineering degree in Australia.

Bangana lad wins slogan contest

Lalit Sharma, a B Sc first year student of Government College, Bangana, has secured the first place in the state-level slogan writing competition organised by the Himachal Pradesh Police Department to mark the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. College Principal Dr Arti Sharma said the competitions were organised on 26 June and the results were declared on Saturday.

‘Vijayi Bharat Abhiyan’ launched

India will re-define economic development, global business and inclusive growth based on our traditional treasure of knowledge, innovation and creativity post Covid and the movement of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Make in India’ will put India on top of the world. Union HRD Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank stated this while launching the ‘Vijayi Bharat Abhiyan’ of the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI). Dr Ranvir Verma, Secretary General of PRSI, Shimla, gave information about the Abhiyan on Sunday.
