Apply for UG, PG programmes by Oct 18

Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, has extended the last date for applying to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in horticulture, forestry, biotechnology, agribusiness and business management. Applicants can submit their application on the university's admission portal till October 18. The normal seats of BSc (honours)-horticulture, BSc (honours)-forestry and BTech in biotechnology will be filled on the basis of scorecard of ICAR-AIEEA (UG)-2021 students, who have appeared in the ICAR-AIEEA-2021 for UG and PG, or AICE-JRF/SRF examination. Those, who have not appeared in the ICAR test, can apply for the self-financing seats for BSc and BTech in biotechnology programmes.

Students get Lessons on TB, HIV

Information regarding HIV and TB was shared with the students of Government College, Sanjauli, through a virtual mode, under the awareness campaign launched by Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday. As many as 50 students joined the programme, which would continue till October 31. The programme has been organnised under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav’.
