67 Agriculture University students clear all-India exams

Palampur, November 21

As many as 67 students of CSK Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University have cleared various national-level competitive examinations recently.

Five students have qualified SRF examination, 35 have availed JRF, five have qualified tests of prestigious management institutes, nine have qualified the All-India Entrance Examination for Admission to Agricultural Courses (AIEEA) and 11 have cleared entrance examinations of the Forest Research Institute, Punjab Agricultural University, and other farm universities. Two students have also qualified GATE. JRF, SRF and AIEEA are conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.

Tarun Sharma secured seventh all-India rank in agronomy, Ishita secured eighth rank in veterinary sciences and Alisha secured ninth rank in animal sciences in the ICAR-JRF Examination-2020. HK Chaudhary, VC, congratulated the meritorious students. — TNS
