Chamba: The Chamba police have arrested three persons from Punjab at Tunnuhatti checkpost near Dalhousie town for possessing 1.126 kg of ‘charas’. The three — Pawan Kumar, Suraj Kumar and Jatinder Singh, residents of Mukerian in Hoshiarpur district — were travelling in a Himachal Road Transport Corporation bus. Chamba Superintendent of Police Abhishek Yadav said the cops were on a routine check at the Tunnuhatti barrier on Wednesday when they stopped the bus. Three passengers in the bus looked nervous, raising suspicions. On frisking them, the police found the contraband.
