258 new Covid cases, eight deaths in Himachal

Shimla, June 23

As many as 258 Covid cases were reported in the state today, taking the tally to 201,049. Besides, eight persons died of the virus in the past 24 hours—two in Solan and Sirmaur and one each in Shimla, Hamirpur, Kangra and Mandi.

There were 74 cases in Shimla, 30 in Bilaspur, 29 in Mandi, 26 in Sirmaur, 21 in Kangra, 19 in Chamba, 18 in Hamirpur, 17 in Una, 14 in Mandi, seven in Solan, two in Kinnaur and one in Lahaul and Spiti. — TNS
